Why do we need to assemble in Church?

Hebrews 10:24-25 24 And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works: 25 Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching(Hebrews KJV 10:24-25). For where two or three are gathered in his name there shall he be in the mist of them (KJV Mathew 18:20).They joined with the other believers and devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching and fellowship, sharing in the Lord's Supper and in prayer. (NLT Acts 2:42).24 Think of ways to encourage one another to outbursts of love and good deeds. 25 And let us not neglect our meeting together, as some people do, but encourage and warn each other, especially now that the day of his coming back again is drawing near.

In assembling with others, we should be able to experience the following within our church family
The "Body" of Christ (We represent the Church)

"Therefore, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were making an appeal through us; we beg you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God (CEB 2 Corinthians 5:20). Whether we are helping one another, traveling with others, or sending someone to represent us where we can't go, we are united in the same manner with the same purpose. Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own (NIV 1 Corinthians 6:19).We represent the body of Christ each and every day in how we treat one another.

The Local Church (A Place to Belong, to Connect, to Serve and to Pour)

In assembling with others, we should be able to experience the following within our church family

A Place to Belong
God never intended for any of us to live alone or be isolated.13 Those that be planted in the house of the LORD shall flourish in the courts of our God.14 They shall still bring forth fruit in old age; they shall be fat and flourishing (KJV Psalm 92:13-14).

A Place to Connect
A place where relationships are authentic and real and you can get to know your church family, and for them to get to know you. As iron sharpens iron, a friend sharpens a friend (NLT Proverbs 27:17).

A Place to Serve
Every Christian is charged with being a part of kingdom building. Get involved in a ministry within the church where you can use your God-given gifts and talents and find enjoyment in helping and serving others. 6 Work hard, but not just to please your masters when they are watching. As slaves of Christ, do the will of God with all your heart. 7 Work with enthusiasm, as though you were working for the Lord rather than for people.(ESV Ephesians 6:6-7).

A Place to Pour
Once you’ve spent some time serving within a ministry, you are encouraged to share your gifts and talents to enhancing the leadership community of the church. Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit.(KJV Mathew 28:19).
